Growth & Engagement Team · Winchester, Hampshire
Department Growth & Engagement Team
Employment Type Full Time
Minimum Experience Mid-level

Domain7’s vision is to help create a more empathetic and connected world. We do this by applying our people-centric, highly-collaborative process towards making organisationally transformative designs across people, culture, data and digital capabilities.  We’re a team of storytellers, strategists, designers, and developers who combine curiosity, imagination, tech-savvy and good old nous to make people-driven organisation and digital change better, better for our clients, and in turn, their clients and communities. We have successfully been operating out of Vancouver, Canada for the last 24 years and are now focused on growing our UK organisation. This Growth Manager role will join our UK-based team, and will also be a key part of our larger team, collaborating with the team in North America to help organisations shift to healthier, more collaborative and people-centric futures.

Living into our vision means making every data and digital user experience, project and client interaction as people friendly as possible. We’re looking for a Growth Manager who pairs a natural magnetism with experience in digital to join our growing UK team. Day to day, this role will be tasked with bringing new revenue to the organisation by identifying and seeking out aligned clients in the UK public sector, scoping, pitching, and closing new project engagements. You should be a perpetual self starter, possessing a real entrepreneurial spirit driving you to create something special with Domain7 across the UK. If you possess the magic combination of warmth and tech smarts; curiosity and commitment; ability to multitask and a great work ethic; imagination and insight; are a quality champion and a not-so-secret inner geek, we want to hear from you!

About the role

As Domain7’s UK Growth Manager, your role sits at the heart of the growth of the organisation, working closely alongside the Domain7 leadership team including the Chief Revenue Officer, UK Managing Director, and other key operators of the business. Today in the UK, Domain7 has a strategic focus on the education and government sectors, with future ambitions to broaden out across the wider public and not-for-profit sectors. We reach these new audiences through networking and relationship building, live education events and workshops, and by creating compelling thought leadership content through our newsletter, blog and more. Your job is to utilise and build upon existing strategies to discover and engage prospective client partners, ultimately bringing new revenue to the organisation through aligned organisations.

Responsibilities

  • As a self-starter responsible for driving new client revenue to the organisation, you’ll create and execute detailed tactical business development campaigns to identify and build strong relationships with prospective clients
  • Utilising your strong experience with consultative selling approaches, you’ll introduce Domain7’s offerings to your existing network
  • You’ll often find yourself attending industry conferences and events, networking with prospects and increasing Domain7 influence in the market
  • You possess the ability to maneuver through organisations and engage new prospect accounts and contacts, and are able to navigate to and build relationships with decision makers and key stakeholders
  • You’ll provide prospective account leadership & management for successful proposal and pitch efforts, and will work with the team on contract negotiations
  • You’ll be friendly with our CRM, maintaining active prospecting lists, and maximising growth and new client acquisition by using historical data
  • You’ll execute against marketing initiatives, and campaigns, seeking to meet revenue targets and business objectives
  • You’ll know and keep familiar with the trends, needs and patterns of the sectors we serve, helping Domain7 become effective and personalised in our communication and sales approaches for both our product and services offerings
  • Your success in this role will be measured by the quality and quantity of the client relationships, as well as your ability to work as part of a small, growing team.

About you

  • You have proven, recognised success in sales and revenue generation efforts in public service organisations and related markets
  • You know how to set up and work within BD processes and frameworks so that our full UK-based team can be highly effective at nurturing prospects and client relationships.
  • You take a people-centric approach to professional relationships and have strength in consultative selling, holding the ability to listen, identify needs and pain points with prospects, and recommend solution paths.
  • You have demonstrably excellent interpersonal, decision making and effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • You possess the ability to think quickly yet strategically and work to very tight turnaround times
  • You’re able to work independently while being a strong team player, living our core value of collaboration
  • You have a strong understanding of the broader digital and organisation design ecosystem and evolving technology
  • And preferably, you have experience working in an agency environment

This role is based from home so you will need a suitable home working environment but we will expect you to be able to attend meetings and work from our occasional office-space in Winchester, Hampshire when necessary.
