Full Stack? 

Full stack can be a loaded term. What we are looking for at this time is someone who can join our UK development team to help develop new functionality to existing projects, as well as support in development on future development work. We are looking for someone who has strength in site-building and back-end drupal development, and any front-end experience is a bonus.


Responsibilities

 

Project Delivery: You will help bring the technical design to life, collaborating with other developers, designers, project managers, product owners, and also clients. You will collaborate with other developers to solve technical challenges with the design or development workflow. 

 

Technical Design and Development:  Sometimes there is one right solution, and sometimes there are multiple approaches that can be taken with various pros and cons. You research these solutions, and possibly make prototypes. You know we’ve done great work in the past, and you look to see how that can inform future solutions. 

 

Feature Deployment: We partner with various hosting providers, and understanding popular platforms and deployment workflows will help you a lot. Knowing your way about Drupal configuration management, update hooks, CI tooling and hosting platforms will be important.

 

Drupal Updates: You are comfortable updating drupal core and contributed modules via composer, and have a good understanding of what this means for configuration management.

 

Custom Code: Custom modules are often part of our projects, and from time to time you will need to develop custom modules, as well as help maintain existing custom module code.

 

Code Review: You will be part of constructive code reviews, and will receive helpful feedback, and will also be expected to give feedback to others. 

 

Tools: You will use tools like Google Docs, Slack, Jira, Harvest. You will use technical tools like git, Vagrant, Docker, CircleCI, Travis-CI

 

Qualifications


  • Significant experience (minimum 3-5 years) in Drupal development. You have a good understanding of content type modelling in Drupal, search API, migrate API, config management, deployment workflows, hosting requirements, Composer, Varnish, CDN, custom module development. 
  • Up to date knowledge of where Drupal is at, and where it’s going in the future.


Bonus

  • Acquia Certification is a bonus
  • Experience in other CMS platforms such as Wordpress
  • Knowledge of frontend tooling and build workflows
  • Experience in an agency context
